Freedom Technologies LLC’s purpose is to provide simple solutions to challenging problems that our customers face.

 

Background:

 

Freedom Technologies LLC was formed in 2007 by Bart White, a mechanical engineer.   However, 14 years earlier, he began pursuing a dream of providing concepts, ideas, and patents to solve challenging problems with innovative answers.   This dream was born in his college years @ Michigan Technological University where he discovered a unique ability come up with ideas that were simple, practical, and innovative.  In 1995 in conjunction with a corporate sponsorship, a first “idea” was born, built and tested successfully.  This project ended in the corporate sponsor purchasing the rights to the idea even before graduation.  The innovation has continued to the present.  Below is a history of that innovation.

 

History (of the owner/founder):

 

  • 1973: Born into a family in Wisconsin with a long history of innovation in the agriculture machinery industry.
  • 1991: Graduated from Coleman High School.
  • 1995: Graduated with a BSME (3.97/4.00 GPA) from Michigan Technological University
  • 1995: Began working for Green Bay Engineering.
  • 1999: Became General Manager of Green Bay Engineering
  • 2000: Received 1st patent to assist in interfolder automation. U.S. Patent #6165116

 

 

  • 2001: Green Bay Engineering was purchased by Fabio Perini North America to gain the technology and expertise that is illustrated in patents 1 thru 4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

·      2007: Formed Freedom Technologies LLC as an outlet for solutions to problems outside the scope of Fabio Perini North America

·      2007: Received 5th  patent to assist in interfolder optimization. U.S. Patent#7219890

 

 

 

 

  • 2008: Received 7th  patent for a technological breakthrough in sleeve forming for packaging compressible products. (Floating the former in a magnetic field) U.S. Patent#7360344

 

 

  • 2008: Received 8th  patent for a optimization of interfolder lapping technology. U.S.  Patent#7407161

 

 

  • 2009: Received 9th  patent for a optimization of interfolder vacuum valve technology. U.S. Patent#7530569

 

 

  • 2008  Patents #5,8,9 are all part of the technology that assisted in the successful launch of the first 1000 fpm production Multifolder (interfolder) in the paper towel converting industry.  The previous standard was 500 fpm.
  • 2009  Left Fabio Perini North America as a result of corporate downsizing.
  • 2009 Moved from part time to full time @Freedom Technologies LLC
  • 2016 Moved into 1222 Parkview Rd location
  • 2019 Installed first robot case packer.
